This cable is for adding a rotary/motor plug to your laser. It connects directly to your stepper motor driver. One end is wired to GX-16 4 pin male socket connector and other end has loose “pigtail” wires (crimped to quality ferules) that you can install (screw in) into standard green terminal bocks of your stepper motor driver.

For 3-phase motors our “standard” pinout is: PIN1:Â W Phase [mark style=”text” color=”WHITE”]BLACK[/mark] PIN2 V Phase [mark style=”text” color=”BLACK”]WHITE[/mark] PIN3* is not connected PIN4* U Phase [mark style=”text” color=”BLACK”]YELLOW[/mark]
*If a 3-pin plug is used, then PIN3 will be connected to the “U” phase.
For reference only: GX-16 connector also known as the “aviation” connector has a black plastic “male” plug with a diameter of 12 mm. Socket version of this connector is silver metallic with a diameter of 16mm
