Level-up your engraving game with the PiBurn OMNI 2, our top-of-the-line flagship product that combines the best features of both the PiBurn V and the PiBurn Grip 2. This rotary is like having two rotaries in one, and comes with two drive systems and two motors. This innovative rotary allows you to seamlessly switch between roller and chuck rotaries, giving you unmatched versatility in your engraving projects to engrave anything from pens to wide diameter dog bowls (with the addition of dog bowls extenders) . Whether you’re working on larger orders where speed is important or intricate shapes where you need total precision and flexibility, the OMNI 2 has got you covered!

With its advanced linear rail system, the OMNI 2 ensures smooth and precise movement, eliminating any need for alignment to the support wheels. The linear rail helps you transition from large to small items quickly and effortlessly using just one hand (no thumbscrews!)

The dual height adjustments offer maximum flexibility, allowing you to easily accommodate different sizes of objects without hassle. Designed with a lower profile tower, the OMNI 2 never interferes with your laser head, ensuring you achieve flawless results every time.

Upgrades in the OMNI 2 include:

Roller Rotary Functionality Upgrades (the PiBurn V side):

• Magnetic feet now included — previously a $75 upgrade, these convenient feet provide added versatility without any extra cost!
• Low profile self-locking telescoping back wheel support for enhanced stability and support of even the heaviest items.
• Repositionable footboard to extend the range of movement using extra mounting holes.
• Linear rail guide & integrated brake/stopper for smoother movement (essentially eliminating anything getting loose or wobbly and preventing front-to-back alignment issues) and quick and easy carriage fixation.
• Wide tires on back wheels replacing O-rings and preventing slipping—say goodbye to lost or shifted O-rings!
• Smaller platform design allows for further back support movement and increased travel.
• Compact head unit design with centered motor and improved belt drive system, eliminating slippage.
• Increased 4.5x gear reduction (3.6x for Thunder motor) for enhanced engraving resolution and movement for precision  on your most delicate and intricate designs.
• One-piece silicone tires on main motorized wheels increases surface area and friction, preventing slipping and losing O-rings.
• Reimagined wheel design with integrated bearings, ensuring they stay perfectly parallel to the headboard.
• Integrated pulley in wheels guarantees no loosening over time.
• Improved clamp for ergonomic design and ease of use.
• Versatile headboard attachment allows mirrored configurations with a special bracket.
• Easily swappable headboard with no need for alignment adjustments thanks to the linear rail.

Chuck Rotary Functionality Upgrades (the PiBurn Grip 2 side):

• Magnetic feet now included — previously a $75 upgrade, these convenient feet provide added versatility without any extra cost!
• Redesigned Grip support mechanism and gear reduction with a new belt gear reduction of up to 3.75x, enhancing engraving resolution and rotational torque. Never need to change DIP switches even with older laser machines.
• Self-locking telescoping lift for smooth height adjustments with just a turn of a knob—no more fiddling with thumb screws – adjust the height of the Grip on the fly!  (First and only Chuck rotary to do this)
• Low profile design that accommodates larger items up to 11.5” in diameter, making it perfect for objects like a Yeti Bucket (with additional jaw extenders, sold separately).
• Up to 15-degree swivel control with an easy-to-use ergonomic knob that locks securely in place.
• Built-in level and center line indicator to ensure perfect alignment every time.
• Patent-pending Hexa-Jaw system that grips heavier objects securely, enabling faster clamping from inside or outside.
• Improved precision and reduction in wobble during rotation for more accurate engravings.
• Quick-swap shaft coupling mechanism using a single screw, allowing fast changes to pre-installed jaw configurations—ideal for dog bowls or tumblers!
• Enhanced back support wheel system featuring a low-profile self-locking mechanism and a wider range of motion.
• Linear guide system ensuring no need for alignment adjustments with back wheels.
• Versatile installation options, including removal from the lift mechanism for use on Galvo brackets (sold separately) or in a turret configuration for multi-object engraving.

PiBurn OMNI 2 will work with most, if not all, Ruida controller-based laser machines. It’s configured out of the box to work with Boss Lasers, Aeon, Thunder Laser (+$75 extra), Koenig Lasers, OM Tech, TTP Sunray 35, Rabbit Laser, and Laguna as well as many 50W eBay laser machines. Other lasers that our customers use it with are Stealth Laser, E-Bay lasers, and most Chinese-made lasers. For these lasers and some others, The PiBurn works Plug and Play out of the box, no modification required.
